The Irishman who loved a Chair, Richard Orpen
An article from Country Life 16th January 2003 about an Arts and Crafts workshop of the 1920’s in Co. Wexford. Set up by Richard Orpen (1884-1967) the workshop still survives. With notes from Carol Jackson about Jeremy Hill, grandson of Edward Richards-Orpen. Edward Richard Orpen was a friend of Alec Miller, Woodroffe and Griggs and was the first Chairman of the Campden Society.
