Lygon Arms, Campden: notes on its history.
Lygon Arms at Campden. A few notes by anonymous author (poss. J. Baker, Almshouses, 1997/104) about its history. The notes mention Mr Mullins who gave the inn its name: flooding in Campden in 1830 (King George’s Flood). The notes also include a description of a visit to London 70/80 years previously, by haymakers to mow the hayfields in Kensington.
