Archives

The CADHAS Archives were brought together in 2002 when the Local History Room was opened in the Old Police Station. Since then we have received many more donations of documents, photographs and artifacts – another room will soon be needed!

Visitors are welcome to use the resources for their own studies into the history of the area, their house or their family. Volunteers are on hand to help and may on occasion undertake further research if the visitor does not live locally.

The resources include maps, building deeds, books, and a range of original and copied documents. Census records, parish registers and an index of the Evesham Journal entries for Campden are now searchable on the computer by visitors to the Local History Room. Our graveyard surveys of St James’s Church, St. Catherine’s Church and the Baptist Church are available to view on this website.
